Pongbot has officially kicked off its Spain Padel Challenge with a successful first stop at Artós Sports Club in Barcelona. The event brought together padel players, sports fans, and spectators for an interactive experience combining competition, technology, and plenty of fun on court.
A Strong Start in Barcelona
The first stop of the Spain Padel Challenge took place at Artós Sports Club, a well-established sports club in Barcelona's Sarrià neighborhood. The club currently features 11 outdoor padel courts and hosts a variety of padel programs, tournaments, and training activities.
From the first qualifying session through the championship final, the challenge attracted strong participation and enthusiastic support from both players and spectators. The energy around the event was strong enough that each session continued for roughly 30 minutes beyond its scheduled finish.
Three Sessions, One Championship Final
The Barcelona stop was structured around two qualifying rounds followed by a championship final. Players competed for points during the qualifying sessions, with the highest-performing participants advancing to the final.

How the Pongbot Challenge Worked
The competition put players directly against the ball machine in a simple but demanding format. Each participant faced five balls launched by a Pongbot machine and attempted to hit them into designated scoring areas on the court.
Every shot contributed to the player's overall score, creating a straightforward format that was easy for spectators to understand while giving participants a chance to test their accuracy, consistency, and shot execution under pressure.

A Three-Way Tie Sets Up the Final
After the two qualifying rounds, three players finished with identical scores of 90 points. Their performances earned them places in the Championship Final, setting up a closely contested final stage.

One Champion Takes the Grand Prize
After the final match, one player emerged as the champion of the first Spain Padel Challenge stop and took home the grand prize: a Pongbot Pace S Pro ball machine.
